Stevie Wonder was one the 18 recipients presented with America’s highest honours at a ceremony at The White House. President Barack Obama said that the honorees “made America stronger, wiser, more beautiful and more humane.”
President Obama also shared that the first album he bought with his own money was Stevie Wonder’s 1972 ‘Talking Book’ album.
“For more than 50 years, Stevie has channeled his inner visions into messages of hope, healing and becoming one of the most influential musicians in American history,” he said
