The former Emerald Theatre in downtown Mount Clemens is getting a new start as the “Macomb Music Theater” according to a recent report in the Macomb Daily. The venue is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 13 with it’s first show featuring Gerald Albright, guitarist Norman Brown and pianist Alex Bugnon.
Property next door to the theater was also purchased to set up a kitchen that can provide food for events at Macomb Music Theatre.
Tickets went on sale on February 25th for the first show which will feature the trio of multiple award winners in jazz.
