An Afternoon of Great Music in the park
A new summer music series premiers this year. The Rhythm in the Park Music Series takes place on the second Sunday in June, July, Sugust and September, bringing live music performances, local food trucks, vendors, and community-friendly fun at the all new Fish Ladder Music Park (Brenke Fish Ladder) at 216 E. Grand River in OldTown.
The summer lineup showcases a diverse mix of music, music genres and artists including gospel, smooth jazz, R &B, Motown, neo soul anf funk that is performed by local and regional artists in Michigan.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Fish Ladder Park and made possible by the Capital Region Community Foundation, Lansing Riverfront.org and BMRW Promotions.org, this free outdoor event is the perfect summer destination for music lovers of all ages.
