It was non-stop entertainment and fun at the February 10th edition of  An Evening of Smooth Jazz in Holt, MI.

“When you talk about music of this caliber, I expected a good show, but this was great,”  said one attendee as he prepared to leave the theater. “I really appreciate what BMRW Promotions is doing to bring this kind of entertainment to our area.”

“We have a few “firsts” for An Evening of Smooth Jazz,” explained BMRW Promotions spokesperson Charlie Wilson in the show opener.

From the smiles and conversations after the show, “Colionne should be at the top of everyone’s recommended list as a “must see” .  “I wasn’t familiar with Colionne but a friend told me I should go …I’m glad that I did.  Can’t wait to see him perform again.    I had such a good time!”

When 496 West opened the show it was the first time for a female saxophonist and a first for a trio of female vocalists.  Among a rousing applause, 496 West band members also honored their band-mate, saxophonist  Ralph ” Tee” who passed away suddenly last week with a heartfelt tribute of “Falling in Love Jesus”.

Nick Colionne gained some fan club members well  before he finished his final chord.  Both men and women were up dancing in the aisles.

What a show!

“Can’t wait for the next one…Excuse me, ‘gotta get my CDs”
