Herbert Scott is a saxophonist from the Washington D.C. area. He is also a former member of Lansing’s 496 West band
Herbert studied at Michigan State’s Jazz Studies Program under the direction of Rodney Whitaker.
His debut CD release is titled Introducing Herb Scott on Alto Saxophone! The CD which reflects his sound and concepts is produced by Bobby Felder and includes Terence Arnett on drums, Mike Pryor Jr. on piano and Wes Biles on bass.
