BMRW Promotions is excited to announce that Eric Darius will be performing at An Evening of Smooth Jazz on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Everett Auditorium, 3900 Stabler Street in Lansing Michigan.

Eric Darius is an exceptional jazz/R&B/pop saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and performer who is internationally recognized. He knows how to captivate his audience and his concerts are a must-see experience. He started his music career at the age of 17 and quickly gained popularity. Eric’s family is also musically inclined, with his father playing bass, his mother and sister singing, and his older brother playing drums and trumpet. He was influenced by many legendary musicians such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Grover Washington Jr., David Sanborn, George Benson, and Bob Marley.

Eric has six critically acclaimed albums, three Number One hit singles, and eight Top 10 radio hits on Nielsen’s R&B/Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts. The band was also named SESAC’s Top 10 Jazz Artist of the Year in 2015. In addition, their lead saxophonist was awarded the Best Jazz Saxophonist Composer Producer and Musician of the Year Award for 2017 at the 1st Annual Citril Starz Awards.

Joining 496 West on stage are two Detroit-based vocalists: Karla Pace and Condido Live!  Karla Pace has opened for several major acts in the past, including Grammy Award-winning artist Babyface, Anita Baker, Stokley of Mint Condition, India Aire, and LL Cool J, among others. Her soulful voice and polished stage presence captivate audiences of all sizes. Condido Live! is a touring member of Motown Experience and a former singer with the Detroit band Saude. His music is heavily influenced by Motown, Nat King Cole, and Prince.
