For 2015, the Flint Jazz Festival will take place at The Meadow, located on the campus of the Flint Cultural Center on Friday, August 14, 2015 – Sunday, August 16, 2015.
The Meadow is just north of the Flint Institute of Music, east of I-475, south of Robert T. Longway Blvd. “The whole area is clean and the grass is plush. Large trees will provide shade from the hot August sun.” states Greg Fiedler, President & CEO of Greater Flint Arts Council (GFAC).

Seating: There is no “built-in” seating – so patrons: please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
Admission: Friday, August 14 is $5 which includes a pass for the whole weekend. (Headliner: NAJEE). For those who do not attend Friday (and don’t have a weekend pass), admission on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 will be $3 each day.
The Flint Jazz Festival has been a gated event for the past three years and this area will be gated-off for admission only.
Schedule: The festival schedule includes a variety of performances by locally known, regionally known, and internationally known musicians. “Come early and see them all,” states Fiedler. “You will be impressed by the caliber of our local and regional musicians who play early in the day.”
